Newton Academy of Science was initiated in the month of January, 2017 on behalf of the great memory of Sir Isaac Newton, the ever known Scientist of the world. It was established by the advice of Scientifically empowered persons of our country. Classes were started from 15th March, 2017 in the Academic Building. A host of dedicated teachers are working continuously to bring the Academy in to a prestigious position. With the opening of Science Stream it now offers a great opportunity to the student for backward rural areas. The Academy is playing a leading role in the field of Science & the development of scientific temper.
Due to lack of proper guidance & scientific attitude in our society, the students are not able to achieve the destination in the field of Pure Science, Medical & Engineering. The Academy has taken this step to profound the student community in order to fit in to the global change of the world such that it helps for the progress of Nation Building Operation. Class IX is introduced from this year 2024 both in English and Assamese medium seperately under SEBA.
